Matthias Dittrich

Matthias Dittrich is currently a Vice President of RWE Supply & Trading GmbH heading the Gas Supply & Projects department. In this role he is responsible for the commercial management of RWE’s existing long-term gas and capacity contracts as well as adding new illiquid positions to RWE’s European gas portfolio. Further, he and his team are looking into gas related projects ranging from portfolio acquisitions to prospective partnerships. Matthias has over 25 years of experience in the European gas industry and held various management positions in technical planning, capacity marketing, wholesale trading, portfolio and risk management as well as gas procurement. He holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Technical University of Dortmund.
